Parts Unlimited Slotard SuperMoto Update

We wrote about the Jesse Rooke / Parts Unlimited Slotard some months ago but all we had to go on were a few photos on his website. It was on display at the Quick Throttle Magazine Expo and it was covered on American Thunder TV where they had a little more info.
We noted before the idea of removing the rear cylinder reminded us of Roger Goldammer’s Trouble and it turns out the frame was from Roger Goldammer and then modified quite a bit. The 140 inch S&S V-twin was modified by S&S to become a single cylinder 70 incher. The Baker Torque transmission, located where the rear cylinder had been, looked like a supercharger, just like Roger Goldammer had done with Trouble and it turns out the Baker transmission was specifically designed to look a lot like a supercharger, leading to a bit of visual confusion.
The bike was built with the support of Parts Unlimited and co-built by Todd Silicato of Todd’s Cycle who was interviewed for the Expo coverage. No other plans were mentioned for the bike other than being a one off project. Interesting motorcycle, overall.

Still no consideration to how the thing will work with such a radical rear swing arm angle. I keep forgetting that these “custom” bikes aren’t intended to work very well in the first place.

p.s. the cool thing about it is that you’ll be able to shorten the wheelbase by applying throttle. Now that’s revolutionary!
