Piaggio 3 Wheel Scooter With 400cc

May 26th, 2006 at 10:45 am by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"

No sooner is the Piaggio MP3 3 wheeled scooter introduced and there is already talk of a 400cc version coming this winter. According to Piaggio’s marketing director in France, that’s coming along with a Gilera branded 3 wheeled scooter, too. The scooter world seems to be coming out with all sorts of developments, perhaps in response to the number of people thinking about alternative transportation as the price of gas stays high. Airbags, 3 wheels, what’s next?

    custom scooters !
    buildoff shows !!
    burnouts against a wall !!!

lining your scooter up on a street with thousands of others and just sit there all day….call it “Scoot Week 2007″

  2. coho Says:

Can you even do a burnout with a CVT?

  3. Steve Says:

Ahaha! That’s hilarious Doug! But, I like it! SCOOT WEEK 2007! We could print up some t-shirts with the tried and true scooter tagline “Born to be mild”. I’ll bring the kegs of rootbeer.

(and coho… I’m not really sure about that… I’ll have to do some research)

i hope i didn’t offend anyone as I like custom bikes & i’ve been to bike week (strange how people just sit there for hours instead of riding).

The buildoff shows have the right idea but you can never get good coverage of the bikes. The latest performance buildoff category has promise.

back to scooters - the more successful scooters are, the better motorcycle companies will be….and cheers to Vespa for their advertising, both in print (dancer) & digital media

coho - i’ve seen a guy do a burnout with a tiny scooter
