Alonso to Rossi - I’m Busy
April 4th, 2006 at 7:06 am by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"As we already reported, after F1 champ Fernando Alonso brushed off Valentino Rossi’s performance in F1 practice and said he could podium a MotoGP bike with a little practice, Rossi challenged Alonso to a three way race, F1, WRC and MotoGP, add the lap times and see who’s faster. The challenge was so cool it got F1 head honcho Bernie Ecclestone grinning and scrambling for rights to the race.
Reporters followed up and asked Alonso about the challenge. Alonso said, “Hey, I’m busy, … I’m a really fast F1 driver and I’m just booked up, … no time, … can’t fit it in, …” or words to that effect. Uh, huh.

Alonso has no way out of this, so he might as well give it a go.
