Matt, I’m busy putting a Megasquirt on a carbureted Dodge Dart right now. Details on the link to my homepage. It’s been taking a while, but I have had a lot of other things to work on too. There’s several people in the Megasquirt forums who have it running on bikes, too. Biggest hurdle is likely to be the high pressure fuel pump. You may want to wait a few months, though, as they’re releasing a scaled-down, waterproof version called Microsquirt which can run the ignition on a four-cylinder bike on its own.

Also, they’ve adapted the Megasquirt-II to use GM flex-fuel sensors. At present, it’s the only aftermarket ECU with built-in support for flex-fuel.

That does look nice. I wonder how well it would work on a non-FI engine for a conversion. I’d love to get another small british convertable, but I detest the Zenith-Stromberg carbs…

I’m always on the lookout for a ‘86 FZR1000 (sentimental reasons), and I’d love to sport EFI on one of those.
