Gas prices almost down to $2.00
November 19th, 2005 at 6:56 am by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"After reaching $3.19 per gallon locally not long ago during the hurricanes, gasoline is now $2.07 at one station nearby. I was looking around for pieces of sky but I couldn’t find any because it never fell. That’s free market optimists, one, … gloom and doomers, zero.

I am still paying $2.35 a gallon, where are you at?

We’re in northwestern PA but if we head into New York, only about 20 miles away, prices jump about $.50. Taxes make the difference.

I think this might have to do with the fact they Big Oil was caught lying on television in front of Congress. It’ll probably go back up when people forget it happened.
