MAXAM 3000 in Tokyo
October 21st, 2005 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"Our intrepid reporter on the scene in Tokyo, was at the Tokyo Motor Show and sent these photos of the MAXAM 3000. I said it was big, but it looks like it’s designed to be a 2 wheeled pickup truck! Look at the size of this thing. Take off the covers and you have a truck bed in the back. I wonder if a camper top is available. Maybe it’s me but it looks really unwieldy, and did I say it’s big? This is the Queen Mary of scooters. Judge for yourself.

I can’t put my finder on it but something’s not right here.

That’s hilarious! It’s like a stretch limousine. That rack-like section on the back end looks like it could be retrofitted for a jacuzzi. If I say that thing on the road (admittedly unlikely in Chicago), I think I would drive off the road from laughing!

I think it´s cool! A leadsled on 2 wheels! Could do without the pickup bed, though. Hope they put it on the market. I´d buy one instantly!

I’d like to see Joe Cager say he didn’t see this one coming down the road!
