I&#039;ve commented on the problem of other countries, specifically China, copying so much of the what we and others invent. That issue has to be dealt with in some fashion but I do not think stopping technologies that will help us is the answer. For my China comments, check the China category at left.</description>

		<description>Think of the possibilities indeed.  Three months after the latest and greatest R&amp;D goes production in Japan, precise, complete copies can go on sale in China.  This is better than the old fashion industrial espionage method of slowly smuggling blueprints out of the originator&#039;s factory, and way, way better than buying design rights to obsolete models.</description>
