Ludovic
you should really get rid of that cbr. i had a cbr 1000, i bought a 09 R6. i raced a rider on my old 1000, he stayed with me till i hit third gear, then he just watched my LED tail light shrink. he couldnt believe that i wooped him from third gear on. he also watched me pull the front tire off the ground in second and third, since he was not infront of me but just to the back, but keepin up for a couple of gears.

I recently bought the 07 Yammi Team blue R6 with .02 miles on it, Iv'e been out of the street/sport bike scene for quite a few years, but have been riding my friends various sport bikes from time to time. l decided to buy the R6 after seeing them around town and hearing the "kill stories" from the weekend past street races and couldn't believe the word on the street about the R6 untill I decided to open mine up to 12k in third and fourth. (still breaking it in) All I can say is WoW!! this bike flies and did scare me a bit because I really wasn't expecting that kinda front tire pulling punch from a 600 cc passed 100 MPH, it got into the tripple digits real quick! BTW, I live in NJ and these R6's at the local track with one mod or front straps done ARE in the mid to low 10's and a couple high 9 secs in the quarter mile on 1.5 to 1.6 60' marks. Absolutly No regrets! Thumbs up to Yammi!

Is all about the experience of riding...one must find the bike suitable/fit them. Is not all about speed and going straight, I enjoy corners. Try the new V-Maxx if you like speed or Buell for corners...

I dont care what these r6 haters say, I owned a GSXR 750 and the thing broke after a winter storage, well anyways last season I was going to buy a zx10r but when I seen the 2007 r6 in red I feel in love, its an excellent bike no dout about it and if anyone says other wise they probably have an I.Q. lower then 100.

Hey guys. Im thinking of selling my 06 CBR 600 for a yamaha 06 R6. Its much of a muchness, and my reasons for switching to the R6 are : Looks, small cosmetic differences-like trying to take the fairing off my CBR takes ages compared with the R6.I also prefer the red display and unlike the R6, you cannot change the secondary injector setting through the dash control. I have 1 concern about the R6 though as i am 90% of the time going to use it on the roads to commute to work and back- alot of the R6 owners are complaining about the extremely sluggish pulloff. So indeed this bike has been built for the track- would you recommend it for road commuting?
