as far as i know, spondon kits came in a similar form, as well as the harris magnum IV and V.  most that could afford the kit decided to spring for premium suspension and costs snowballed.  but (as far as i know), the magnum 5 needed just a fireblade to complete.

but in recovering this link i see my favorite kit is no longer there... lack of demand, or someone sat on the moulds by accident?

it looks like vintage is the trend here (as in the car world...the cobra dates from the 60&#039;s and the super seven has late fifties roots.  caterham tried a modern kit (the 21) and it vanished into history.  i want one, but everyone with money wanted a spartan  car resembling a yellow loaf of bread (which luckily kept caterham in business)</description>
