NHRA Dragbike finals reversed

Motorcycles are now faster than light. The Mac Tools Motorcycle Nationals final between Matt Smith and Steve Johnson ended with a win light for Matt Smith, unfortunately for everyone involved, Steve Johnson was first across the finish line.
Theories are floating around that the beams actually pulse and the wheel somehow made it across between pulses, … or something. At any rate, after reviewing all of the photos and video, officials reversed the win and gave it to Steve Johnson. Looks like they may need to have a video examination on a regular basis or else they’ll just have to sit some feller down by the finish line and have him wave a flag.
