Factory Tours

If you’re a tech guy like me, seeing how things go together is fascinating. Since we’re still in the summer vacation season, why not invest a few hours in a factory tour when you’re out of town? There might be a cool tour on the way to some other destination or you could make the tour the destination all by itself. You can watch them make Harley Davidsons (engines and motorcycles), Hondas (motorcycles and cars), Ford cars, Piper Aircraft, and loads of other stuff, too. I remember taking some brewery tours in Milwaukee, samples at the end were tasty. The Factory Tours USA site has a huge list. There’s probably quite a few within a day’s drive of where you live. Nice way to take a short vacation on a single tank of gas.
