by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider" on May 19, 2005

in Motorcycle Builders, Motorcycle Racing

The dysfunctional chopper builders have put together a drag bike. The show is scheduled to appear June 6th on the Discovery Channel. They haven’t released pictures yet but times are in the 9 second range. That doesn’t sound like your average OCC theme bike.

by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider" on May 18, 2005

in General

Just got a note from Mike Werner who runs the motorbiker.org web site, it’s listed in my links as Bikes in the Fast Lane. Seems he’s having a few problems. His domain was listed in a database as a spammer and it’s been blocked, unfortunately, Mike is an innocent victim here, he doesn’t spam. If [...]

Motorcycle display cases

by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider" on May 18, 2005

in Motorcycle Accessories, Workshop & Tools

For the guy who has everything, here are display cases for your motorcycle. Made out of oak, plywood or PVC, depending on which model you choose, they keep your bike all cozy and free from the fingerprints of the little anklebiters just waiting to rest their greasy fingers on your spotless paint. I’m not sure [...]

Alternative energy motorcycles

by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider" on May 17, 2005

in Alternative thinking, Science frontiers

In the last week or so there has been an enormous amount of press devoted to alternative energy power sources for motor vehicles. Just yesterday, President Bush was at a biodiesel plant and talking up the advantages of using that fuel. Hydrogen has been promoted by numerous government initiatives and we’re hearing about some talks [...]
