Texas Hardtails reality TV
May 29th, 2005 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
Looks like the Speed Channel is getting into chopper reality shows, I guess they saw one too many American Choppers and said, “Hey, we can do that, too.” The new show, Texas Hardtails, is based at Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas. Rick has quite an operation building choppers, selling bikes, parts and apparel and he runs Strokers Ice House, a combination restaurant and bar. Whatever you might say about Rick, he looks like he’s having a lot of fun and I think that’s great. His business has lots of regular gatherings where bikers roll in and get quite a show, bikini babes and all. The show is scheduled to debut June 28th at 8:30PM on the Speed Channel.

Oh great! Just what we need! Yet another low budget show about some grizzled, third grade educated mechanic redneck who thinks he can build custom vehicles. Gee, what an original idea! And such an original script as well. Let’s see if I can write this script for them:
Grizzled old coot cusses and belittles his employees while they try to build his unoriginal looking motorcycles.
Boy! Can’t wait!
