Vectrix electric scooter
March 1st, 2005 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
New designs keep coming and now here’s the Vectrix, an electric scooter with decent performance. Top speed of 62mph, range of 68 miles, 0-50mph 6.8 seconds, recharges to 80% in 2 hours, full charge in 3 hours from a standard wall outlet. It looks like a nice design and their site has quite a few variations including what looks like a race or sport version. For shorter range and city commute type riding it might be just the thing. Not yet in the U.S. but they are looking for dealers for a 2006 introduction. Link via Gizmodo.
