Motorcycle crate engines
16 February 2005We need motorcycle crate engines. For quite a while now, if you got the urge to rebuild a car, all you had to do is pick up a catalog from any one of a lot of companies, choose the engine you want, displacement, horsepower, mild or wild and with the stroke of a check have [...]
Make Magazine finally arrives
15 February 2005Way back here I mentioned the upcoming release of Make Magazine, devoted to those of us who like tools and taking things apart and finding out how stuff works and most importantly, how to build neat new things to solve some problem or just to see if we could. 11 February 2005Wasn’t planning on turning this into a car blog but I have to mention one more company using Hayabusa engines since they seem to have quite a business building street legal cars and kits. The comany is Z Cars over in England and they have some of the coolest conversions, putting bike engines into a [...]
Hayabusa 3 wheeler
11 February 2005Since we’ve been talking about Hayabusa engines, I ran across this Hayabusa with a sort of, well… , growth out back. It’s a wheelie bar on steroids or something. I’m not sure what the reason behind it is but it’s interesting, not your average 3 wheeler.
